swine flu cases in GEORGIA
Swine Flu in Georgia first occurred in April 2009 when a woman from LaGrange Georgia was hospitalized on April 26th. It was the first confirmed case of swine flu in Georgia. The woman, who actually originated from Kentucky, had recently returned from a vacation trip to Cancun, Mexico.The Swine Flu In Georgia is currently being monitored by Logan Boss, the Northwest Georgia Public Information officer. Boss emphasizes that even though the WHO (World Health Organization) has deemed current levels of swine flu as an influenza pandemic, only one person in the USA has died from the H1N1 virus. This swine flu death involved a young toddler had migrated from Mexico to Texas with his family.
